The Dream Project (Timiza Ndoto Project)
The Dream Project supports children with disabilities and vulnerable children from low income, vulnerable, disadvantaged and underprivileged families by providing essential educational materials and school necessities including school uniforms, shoes, school bags, exercise books, pens, geometry sets and other learning supplies,
Empowering them to realize their full potential and contribute meaningfully to increased school attendance, learning outcomes and improved academic performance resulting from improved school attendance, higher retention rates, lower dropouts and over all confidence to supported school pupils gained through life skills, emotional resilience gained through emotional intelligence aspects of self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy and social skills. Similarly, the project supports mental health awareness and psychosocial support services including awareness, counselling and school/community support linkage networks.
Further, the dream project supports economic empowerment and livelihood improvement for low income families for them to have income sources to continue supporting their children school and other basic needs which further ensures continued support and project sustainability beyond project lifetime.
The project supports vulnerable school children by providing essential educational learning materials and school necessities, Emotional Intelligence and Mental Health awareness and support to school pupils’ vulnerable families economic empowerment and livelihood improvement in 6 Regions of Pwani, Morogoro, Tanga, Mtwara, Rukwa and Katavi in Tanzania Mainland.
